The transfer film is a special paper for printing on white or light-colored cotton textiles.
Application:
- Print the image in mirror image onto the white, unprinted side of the paper.
- Preheat the iron to the highest temperature.
- Cut out the printed image with an approx. 5 mm border and place it face down on the wrinkle-free ironed textile.
- For ironing, use a smooth, hard surface such as a tabletop, which should be protected with a firm fabric underlay, such as two to three wrinkle-free kitchen towels or pillowcases.
- Iron the image onto the textile for 60 – 90 seconds for small motifs (1/2 page) or 90 – 120 seconds for large motifs, using constant circular motions with strong, even pressure and heat distribution, without steam.
- Allow the transfer paper to cool and then peel off the backing paper from the textile with a steady pull. When transferring multiple motifs to the front and back of the textile: First iron all images, and only then peel off all backing papers (when cold).
Tip: If the printing result is unsatisfactory, the ink application should be reduced. To do this, increase the brightness by approx. +10% in the settings.
