It should be noted that not all paints are compatible with Styrofoam and can damage the material. However, it can be said that almost all water-based paints are well tolerated by Styrofoam. These include, for example, acrylic paints, craft paints, poster paints, etc. For other paints, a primer must be applied before processing.
