From drawing paper for sketches to papers for painting with watercolors, oil and acrylic paints, and for the use of mixed media techniques, artists choose the appropriate substrate depending on the quality: The compact system consists of KREUL Paper in entry-level quality and SOLO GOYA Paper as artist paper in medium quality. The use of FSC-certified cellulose and production using hydroelectric power make these papers very environmentally friendly. They are acid-free and age-resistant according to ISO 9706. Due to the absence of acid and the limited use of alkali, the papers are very suitable for archiving. KREUL Paper Mixed Media, 300 g/m²: suitable for all mixed media fine art techniques, whether for wet or dry painting applications. The high-quality artist paper is glued on four sides, ensuring it lies flat after wetting without buckling. The surface is smooth, satin-finished, and highly durable to withstand intensive paint application, high moisture content, and the wear and tear of multiple techniques. It consists of a blend of 25% cotton and lignin-free cellulose.
