The noble casting powder with the brilliant porcelain effect is excellent for casting reliefs, figures, window pictures, mosaics, ornaments, decorative plates, etc. This high-quality and easy-to-work-with casting compound is ideal for creative applications at home, in schools and recreational facilities due to its special formula. Silicone or plastic molds, papier-mâché molds and much more can be used as casting molds. The product is recommended by leading artists and restorers. Instructions for use: The Edelweiss casting powder is mixed with water to form a fast-curing, pourable compound. Mixing ratio: 1 part water, 4 parts powder, e.g. 1 kg powder + 2.5 dl water = 0.55 l casting compound. Slowly sprinkle the powder into the water and stir intensively for approx. 2 minutes. Immediately and carefully pour the casting compound into the prepared mold. For highly structured molds, first distribute the casting compound into the depressions with an old brush to remove air bubbles. Then fill the mold. The processing time is approx. 5 minutes, after 30 minutes the cast part can be removed from the mold, and it is hardened after approx. 45 minutes. Afterwards, further processing can begin as desired: sand edges (sandpaper No. 240), paint, varnish.
