Easter decorations bring a cheerful atmosphere into the home with delicate pastel colours and cute bunny motifs. These DIY Easter candles are a perfect addition to the festive table. They are also easy to make and suitable for anyone who wants to create a creative Easter decoration!
For this project, you will need:
Crafting fun for the whole family
This project is ideal for creative family time and playfully promotes concentration and fine motor skills. Children can arrange the beads according to a template or freely create floral motifs, designing individual patterns and colourful colour combinations. Parents can then take over the ironing to safely fuse the beads together.
Different colours and possibilities with iron-on beads
Combine different colours and shapes for special effects. Green beads create stems and leaves, while yellow accents make luminous flower centres. Neon beads also provide exciting highlights. Several flowers together create a beautiful picture or a colourful bouquet.
Step-by-step guide
1st step
Print out the bunny template and cut out a bunny shape from sturdy paper or cardstock.
2nd step
Print the desired motifs on the film (item no. 4010.57) using a laser printer.
3rd step
Cut out the motif and place it in lukewarm water for approx. 30-60 seconds.
Step 4
Once the film loosens, you can carefully place it on the object. The motif can be easily moved and corrected in the first few minutes.
Step 5
If you are using the film on a candle, also protect the motif with candle lacquer (e.g. CKH49971)
Step 6
Glue the finished, cooled flowers to a branch with hot glue.
