Step-by-step instructions

1. Step

Using a craft knife, grate small pieces of crayons in your desired color into a container. It's best to use 2-3 different colors per egg to achieve beautiful effects.

Two hands are shredding an orange crayon over a bowl of colorful wax shavings. On the table, there are more crayons, transparent plastic eggs, and craft materials for self-designed surprise eggs.

2. Step

Melt: Open a plastic egg, put the wax shavings into it and close it tightly. Then heat the egg with a hairdryer until the shavings melt and spread on the inside.

With a spoon, colorful wax shavings are filled into a transparent plastic egg. The orange-yellow shavings serve as decorative filling for a self-designed surprise egg.

3. Step

Now heat the egg with a hairdryer until the wax shavings melt and stick to the inside of the egg. Make sure to heat the egg evenly so that the colors distribute well.

Step 4

Once the wax has cooled and solidified, you can open the egg and fill it with sweets or a small surprise.
