Hello everyone, I'm Nathi and I live in Lucerne with my son and boyfriend. I've always loved being creative, and for two years now, I've had my own handmade shop, Cacadou. Through DIY projects or using my plotter, I'm constantly bringing new ideas to life as a balance to being a mom. During autumn, candles are an absolute must—they make any room feel much cozier instantly. With this autumnal decorative slice, you can bring the cozy fall vibes right into your home.

As soon as it gets cool and wet outside again, the best thing is to snuggle up at home. For a lovely atmosphere, candles are an absolute must.
Cute mushrooms
Mushrooms are simply a part of autumn decorations. Whether as décor or to eat, they are definitely a must-have in autumn—because they just look great.
Modeling with children
By kneading and modeling, children not only develop their creativity but also train their fine motor skills. They learn how to turn their ideas into reality and experience a sense of achievement in the process. Plus, kneading together is a lot of fun.
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1
Forming the mushrooms: Shape an oval body for the stem and a circle for the mushroom cap that is slightly raised. The drying time is 3-4 days.
Step 2
Pour the candle holder according to the quantity instructions on the packaging. Mix the powder well with the water until a smooth mixture is formed. After pouring it into the mold, remove any air bubbles by tapping it.
Step 3
After about 30 minutes, you can remove the candle holder from the silicone mold. It takes 4-5 days to dry completely.
Step 4
Once the parts have dried completely, paint them with acrylic paint. For good coverage, apply several coats. To make sure the red on the mushroom cap looks good, I primed the cap with white first.
Step 5
After the paint has dried completely, attach the mushroom caps to the stems with hot glue.
Step 6
After all the individual parts are finished, attach them to the wooden board with hot glue as desired. Tip: To prevent small pieces of moss from falling off after gluing, spray the moss with a little hairspray.
