Crafting with autumn leaves

Autumn marks a special time of year, characterized by warm colors and the enchanting atmosphere of the season. During this period, nature reveals its treasures in the form of fallen leaves and other natural materials. Autumn is undoubtedly the season for crafting, where we can connect the wonders of nature with our own creative moments.

Age: From 4 years old

Duration: 30 - 60 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

For this project, you will need:

💡Tip: Press the leaves between sheets of newspaper for one to two days beforehand; this ensures they remain flat, are easier to glue on, and last longer.

Cute owls and hedgehogs made from natural materials

In autumn, the forests come to life, and with them, the prickly friends of the woods: the hedgehogs. Using the fallen leaves gifted to us by nature, we can easily recreate these cute little creatures. But it’s not just hedgehogs that take center stage in autumn. During the day, we are also fascinated by owls with their mysterious charm. How about crafting a cute owl friend using fallen leaves and an empty cardboard roll?

Focus on natural creativity and upcycling

In this project, we are making small decorative magnets. You can, for example, create fruits and vegetables, little animals, loving messages, or other cute motifs. After shaping, simply attach a magnet to the back. Depending on the type of FIMO, you can either let your work air-dry or briefly harden it in the oven. For an extra beautiful finish, you can then seal your creation with gloss varnish.
